Take some time from your Sunday morning for our yoga workshop series to learn the fundamental principles of inversions – increase your core and upper body strength, find balance, improve circulation, and much more. Stimulating the flow of blood and oxygen to your brain helps with concentration and memory.
Don’t be afraid of inversions – while the first image that comes to mind might be the headstand, don’t forget that downward facing dog is an inversion too! Build your confidence and break out of your comfort zone. All poses can benefit you no matter where you are in your practice.
In this 2 hour workshop conducted by Theresa Shan, we will concentrate on inversions, learn to listen to our body, options and substitutions for certain postures, and restore your energy. Whether a beginner or advanced practitioner, this workshop is suitable for all levels.
