Robert Cervantes originally from Chicago came to Singapore with a career in the wine and restaurant industry. Although having practised yoga regularly before coming to Singapore, he took his first teacher training in Singapore with Andrey Lappa, founder of Universal Yoga. He then attended another teacher training in India at Yoga Vidya Gurukul University, where he attained a diploma in Yoga Therapy. Leaving his restaurant career behind to pursue his dream in yoga. He now teaches at Hom Yoga.

Ardha Padmasana Vrksasana (Half Lotus Tree Pose)

Benefits: Improves balance and focus. Opens hips. Strengthens supporting leg.
